Kendra Turner, 17, of Dyersburg, Tennessee was suspended because she said ‘bless you’ to another student who sneezed.
It seems that the teacher has a list of words you can’t say in class, and ‘bless you’ is on the list. The teacher told the TurnerĀ “Now we will not have godly speaking in my class.”

Andy A. Reimer where are you getting your facts…..Mother Jones???? Oh yes you said you don’t read any left wing rags right????? Not according to your timeline. Don’t comment with info and say you researched it and rip into us for commenting on the story. Bless your heart.
She should be suspended for posing for that hideous picture. That horse should have kicked her in the head.
Joyce McCloskey Lowry…The facts are, non existant. And you can’t tell anything from my timeline. I have no links to liberal propaganda either. One person has spoken out on this “bless you” topic. The student who was suspended. And you take that as gospel fact. Show me one thing that has a neutral, both sides approach to this issue. You can’t. Yet you think you know it all.
Ridiculous! Enough of this PC junk!
You followers of this and other sites are some of the most gullible I have ever seen. A one sided story, multiplied by a dozen biased sites, does not make it factual. But you are so convinced that it has to be true, because you want it to be. Learn to use your heads. Not everything you read on the internet is true.
This is a sad day for America when you cannot say certain words anymore, especially if they sound Christian.
I agree that religion shouldnt be part of a public school system. As to not infringe on personal beliefs… But that is excessive…
My personal belief is we need religion in schools. What is unconstitutional is imposing a state religion, such as relative humanism. And not teaching God’s love and support for his creation is not infringing on anyone’s belief except those who don’t believe in any God. Are we so afraid of the truth that we continue to hide this simple truth of God’s love from our children.
Wonder what God is going to say to the teacher.
There should be a lawsuit regarding the 1st amendment, here.
