Kendra Turner, 17, of Dyersburg, Tennessee was suspended because she said ‘bless you’ to another student who sneezed.
It seems that the teacher has a list of words you can’t say in class, and ‘bless you’ is on the list. The teacher told the Turner “Now we will not have godly speaking in my class.”

I’m an atheist and I say “bless you” if someone sneezes. “Bless” is not a strictly religious word. It has other meanings. Even if it didn’t .. this is the stupidest biggest waste of anyone’s time and effort in a management position that I’ve heard of recently. I won’t say EVER because there are some pretty dumb things going on out there. This is just one example. Sounds like this teacher is more interested in bullying her students than she is teaching them. It is ridiculous. I’d fire the teacher and keep the student.

Terrorism has reached the school system. Now Americans can’t speak their mind what happened to freedom of speech? Has it been thrown to the curb along with reason and truth? It’s time we don’t take this insanity anymore.
