Kendra Turner, 17, of Dyersburg, Tennessee was suspended because she said ‘bless you’ to another student who sneezed.
It seems that the teacher has a list of words you can’t say in class, and ‘bless you’ is on the list. The teacher told the TurnerĀ “Now we will not have godly speaking in my class.”

ad to say, but with the way things are going we wont have any rights or freedom!! and if we AMERICAN’S keep backing down from these inbreed mother$#%&!@*ers and people who dont like our country… then it’s OUR OWN FAULT!! we are letting our government take total control of OUR lives and rights!! When will American’s pull their balls out and stand up to those who are trying to damage our country? the people before us didnt let it happen, sooo why are we?
Dumb teacher (if it is true)
Good
When I first read this I thought it was bogus. I Goggled it at found it on numerous mainstream news outlets including Fox. Someone needs to train these administrators and teachers about the Constitution and Supreme Court rulings on this topic. …remember when teachers were intelligent? http://www.foxnews.com/opinion/2014/08/20/student-punished-for-saying-bless/
fire teacher right now

Fire the Teachers!!!!!!!!!
Fire the teacher
how stupid of the teacher, the teacher should be suspended, without pay
“Godly Speaking?” This teacher suffers from low IQ but is allowed to be a teacher. There was a survey done some years ago that proved that Americas public school teachers are people who have lower scores on test than those who apply for other positions. It was in the Atlanta journal and Constitution and had been done by Government at the time with reputable references.
