Kendra Turner, 17, of Dyersburg, Tennessee was suspended because she said ‘bless you’ to another student who sneezed.
It seems that the teacher has a list of words you can’t say in class, and ‘bless you’ is on the list. The teacher told the Turner “Now we will not have godly speaking in my class.”

When will people just STOP putting up with these idiots in our school systems?
The last I knew, the teachers don’t have authority to suspend a student. The principal makes that decision.. what’s his excuse? And if the principal supports a teacher in telling a kid her parents have taught her wrong to be courteous and using proper manners, they should both be fired and not allowed to work with children, kids, teens.
There’s no such thing as a “passionate” Democrats!
