Kendra Turner, 17, of Dyersburg, Tennessee was suspended because she said ‘bless you’ to another student who sneezed.
It seems that the teacher has a list of words you can’t say in class, and ‘bless you’ is on the list. The teacher told the Turner “Now we will not have godly speaking in my class.”

Teachers who do stupid things like this should be sent to the woodshed and beaten to within a half-inch of her life. Nah, kill the stupid cow.

teachers wouldn’t have gotten away with that back in the 50’s and 60’s. they wouldn’t have said that anyway everyone talked like that and loved God and wanted the children to love God. Now everyone seems to be going the other way. If your not for God then your for the devil
The word has gone mad with this PC c**p. Known people throughout my life (64 years) that were not religious in even the slightest way, and still said, “bless you,” as a matter of courtesy and historical habit and no one was ever was offended.
