Kendra Turner, 17, of Dyersburg, Tennessee was suspended because she said ‘bless you’ to another student who sneezed.
It seems that the teacher has a list of words you can’t say in class, and ‘bless you’ is on the list. The teacher told the Turner “Now we will not have godly speaking in my class.”

This still is America and we do have freedom of speech. Bless you is an old saying when someone sneezes. The teacher, principal, school board and the school district should be ashamed. A little more God and less politically correct c**p might make better kids.

And Americans are not allowed to say “Bless you!’ when someone has sneezed. I suppose saying, “Curse you” is alright?
