Kendra Turner, 17, of Dyersburg, Tennessee was suspended because she said ‘bless you’ to another student who sneezed.
It seems that the teacher has a list of words you can’t say in class, and ‘bless you’ is on the list. The teacher told the Turner “Now we will not have godly speaking in my class.”

This teacher is a friggin Nut! If this kind of c**p keeps up they will be throwing a huge number of the American people in jail for what we say and do!!

I’m an atheist and I think this is ridiculous. I don’t think religion should be taught in schools but she’s free to believe what she wants. And more than that “bless you” is just a colloquial term for when someone sneezes. I might even say bless you and I’m not blessing anything. It’s courteous.
