Kendra Turner, 17, of Dyersburg, Tennessee was suspended because she said ‘bless you’ to another student who sneezed.
It seems that the teacher has a list of words you can’t say in class, and ‘bless you’ is on the list. The teacher told the Turner “Now we will not have godly speaking in my class.”

Wh,at a load of c**p this is. We have a bunch of parents who have been taught to say that for 50-60 years, and now you pass it along to your kids and some screwed up school official suspends someone for being polite. What is our world coming to??

Instead of all the nasty stuff on here, wouldn’t it be better to send this teacher thousands and thousands of BLESS YOU’S or GOD BLESS YOU’S!!!!! Maybe we should start a campaign to send blessings to the school in support of this student instead of wishing ill will on anyone.
