Kendra Turner, 17, of Dyersburg, Tennessee was suspended because she said ‘bless you’ to another student who sneezed.
It seems that the teacher has a list of words you can’t say in class, and ‘bless you’ is on the list. The teacher told the TurnerĀ “Now we will not have godly speaking in my class.”
See The Following Page:

WE will have GODLY speaking wherever we want.
The teacher should have been suspended without pay or fired. The student did no wrong. I smell lawsuit.
how sad good for you Kendra the suspension was worth it God will take care of you something has to be done about this it is crazy who;s rules are these?
Say what?! Fire that bitch
I say the teacher needs a new job if that’s all she has to worry about
A teacher at a PUBLIC school is state worker; as an employed member of the state, in an authority position over juveniles, in a state institution; it is against the law to censor speech on social topics such as religion. If you do not support the constitution as a state worker in a position of authority, you should not be employed by the public. Sounds like this teacher needs some lessons on the 1st amendment so as to prevent a Civil Suit against the taxpayers who this teacher is employed by. You’d think “progressive liberals” would be more open & supportive of civil liberties…

SICKENING!!!!
FIRE THE TEACHER
Unreal!
The teacher and the school board are over reacting if they suspend a student for such a mild infraction, by this scale of reasoning a violent student who behaves like a real bully should be imprisoned or electrocuted, to be less would mean that the scale of punishment is out of scale with the infraction.
