Kendra Turner, 17, of Dyersburg, Tennessee was suspended because she said ‘bless you’ to another student who sneezed.
It seems that the teacher has a list of words you can’t say in class, and ‘bless you’ is on the list. The teacher told the Turner “Now we will not have godly speaking in my class.”

Teacher should be suspended for walking on her right to free speech
This teacher needs fired right now for violating students right to speak. If this stands then it is time we the people take over the schools and apply some good old American rules.

Rules are rules, but I still think suspension is a bit harsh. Couldn’t just take away her gold star for the day?
Settle this with the school board. Advise that tax dollars pay for schools and all related things. Since the greatest percent of the population is Christian, god is surely in the class room.
