Kendra Turner, 17, of Dyersburg, Tennessee was suspended because she said ‘bless you’ to another student who sneezed.
It seems that the teacher has a list of words you can’t say in class, and ‘bless you’ is on the list. The teacher told the TurnerĀ “Now we will not have godly speaking in my class.”

Atheist teacher in our schools in our government these are what is wrong with our kids we need to weed them out of our school system if they say any thing about not want Godly things said are read they need to be let go parents need to stand -up
Bless you, young lady. Don’t lose faith. Those who are against God will pay dearly in the end.
“if”, in truth, that is all she said, and the principal suspended her for that and the school board allows it to stand, the people of that community should throw out any member of the board that votes to uphold it and fire the principal and teacher in question. I hope there is continued coverage of this. It is way past time to stop this c**p. Those on here who know me, know I am not in the least “religious”, so it is not a “religious” issue for me. It simply speaks to common sense and good manners. In my opinion both the teacher and the principal should have their teaching certifications revoked.
It would serve well if the teacher got a bug and had to spend the entire year at home with a substitute in the classroom. Surely, the sub will have more sense.
bless you bless you bless you and god bless you we have to get rid of this communist school system
PC gone wild.
Is atheist one of them? Freedom of speech?
I have only one word to say to that. “Homeschool.”
Bless you Kendra. Don’t let them get you down..
Fire anyone who had anything to do with this
