Kendra Turner, 17, of Dyersburg, Tennessee was suspended because she said ‘bless you’ to another student who sneezed.
It seems that the teacher has a list of words you can’t say in class, and ‘bless you’ is on the list. The teacher told the TurnerĀ “Now we will not have godly speaking in my class.”

They need to suspend the teacher. I hope this girls parents are pursuing legal action against the school district and the teacher. I hope that other parents go to the school and tell the principal to remove their kids from her class and if they refuse then stage a sit in in front of the school. The teacher has to go.
I agree the teacher must go along with all the rest in the school district
completely insane !! time to home school
This is America. . .under One God . . .One nation. Bless you
A prayer team of people need to pray for that teacher’s soul. She should be suspended for violating the student’s rights…for the Supreme Court has ruled many times, that as long as the student instigates references to God/Jesus and praying, it is within the constitutional rights to do so.
Fire the teacher…this kind of CLOSED mind should not be teaching our children…
I would say to the teacher, “Well then, I guess we will not have people that are pushing religion that is posing either as anti-religion or non-religion into MY classroom and you can get sued, have your license permanently revoked, and be sued for a whole mess of charges. I will see you in court, miss, and anyone that dares to take your side will also be facing charges from myself. How do you like THOSE apples?”
@Jamie Galindo, you must be a special kind of stupid, are you not, sir?
@Ryan Grossaint, you must be a special kind of stupid, are you not, sir?
This message is to you atheist whine bags that wanted to suspend the girl. None of you have common sense and if you dare come against me, I will school you and make you rue the day that you ever came against myself, period, full stop. Have a nice day.
