Stacey Dash has long fallen out of favor with the left in these United States. Once upon a time, the lovely Stacy did her duty and voted and promoted the magical Barack Hussein Obama and celebrated with the world as Senator Barack Obama strode into the White House to save the world.
President Obama did not save the world. He couldn’t even save Hillary Clinton from herself. He didn’t save Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, Egypt or Detroit.
Yet through it all the friends and allies of Stacey Dash kept their faith in President Obama and she said to herself “People… he can’t handle anything. He’s a steely whiner and blames everyone but himself.” Or something like that and off she went to endorse Mitt Romney in 2012.
Her former friends and allies howled and jeered and Stacey Dash was questioned about her sanity and her blackness.
Now with an Oscars controversy brewing in Hollywood, Stacey Dash slaps the American left upside the head yet again.

YES! Too Bad This Wasn’t Done Before This!
Boom!
For some reason Benicio Del Toro isn’t protesting…..?
Technically they do, if you focus on the fact that it says black… Nope t doesnt help but when you think anout how many underprivileged black kids have succeeded bbwcause of the NAACP then they help way more than they are a burden. BET has offered oppurtunity to black musicians and stars that would have never been offered to them by the American status quo.
Meanwhile 50 years ago. Evolution says we evolve from our past mistakes. Hence why we have black people in all forms of high positions and occupations. From sports, to actors, government officials. No one has an excuse half a century later.
Rodney, how does one pretend to be black? Are you saying stereotyping is accurate?
Angelo Smith, you are black? Sorry I could not tell from looking. Yes, nobody knows what it is like to be anyone else, exactly. Do you know what it is like to be the fat kid on the playground picked last all the time. Do you know what it is like to the “light” skinned African American and not be accepted by those with darker skin? Being told you are not “black” enough. Have you had people in the Philipines or Turkey come up to you and begin speaking in their native tongue because they assume you at one of them?
The point here is everyone, every race, every country, every culture, deals with these type of issues and sees “color”.
Yes, the US has a checkered history, but one that, correct me if I am wrong here, has improved. That is not saying it is perfect, but I ask everyone posting on this thread, what is the goal? I can guarantee you nobody will agree.
We may all say true equality and agree to those words, but when trying to define equality the definition will not be the same. So I say look at what the goal is, define it, reach it, live it, and find a place of peace so at least in America we can all live as one nation, not constantly fighting amongst ourselves.
I think she and Morgan Freeman have a point. Black history is American history and should always be honored and taught within all history. There are so many awards shows that cover all performers regardless of race that BET is really not necessary. We can’t fight for equality but then allow separation. It’s either one or the other.
Amen
Only white people can be racists, i thought we all where aware of that
