In an interview on NBC, filmaker Spike Lee claimed that Americans don’t care about the massive amounts of gun violence because its “not Sandy Hook.”
While Spike Lee attempts to spin Americans’ lack of interest in Chicago by insinuating that no one cares because those who are dying aren’t innocent, young, white, schoolchildren, he’s totally ignoring those who are ignoring the violence in Chicago.
While most of America is pointing toward Chicago as proof that gun-free zones don’t work, those who are outright ignoring the city is none other than Black Lives Matter.
The reason for this is obvious. When it comes to Black Lives Matter, black lives only matter when they are killed by white Americans. Because such a huge percentage of Chicago’s murders are black on black crime, Black Lives Matter doesn’t seem to care.

It has nothing to do with the color of your skin, it has everything to do with the character of this race of people!! They seem to have absolutely no direction except to destroy and create chaos!! Sad!!

It amazes me how black people continue to blame white people and expect white people to fix THEIR problems. Black on black killings are far higher than white/black or cop/black. I won’t even get into abortion.
If they want their lives to matter then they need to act, talk, walk, live and BELIEVE they matter! No white person, or even all white people can make them believe they matter! Only they can!!!
So rather than blaming whites, woe is me, doing wrong, killing, stealing, raping, living in poverty and wallowing around in self pity, why not do something? Stop the me, me, me c**p. Stop playing a victim.
No job? Volunteer! DO SOMETHING GOOD!!!! DO SOMETHING GOOD FOR OTHERS.

The blacks need to RISE UP, and be healed from the INSIDE. Stop putting your value in the hands of whites, but in Jesus Christ. They matter to Him! When they believe they matter, they will act like it and will soon see they are treated like it. I know too many wonderful black people that have the same ancestors, came from poverty and believe they matter to know it’s possible.
No we don’t care because they need to fix their own problems just like the rest of the cities and states do.
Paula Moore I said inforce the current gun law not more. If gang bangers in Chicago and Baltimore just to name a couple cities were prosecuted for having a gun on current federal gun laws they would be in prison for 20+ year instead of 5-8. Look up the current federal not state gun laws.
