As our readers are painfully aware, Speaker Paul Ryan is not confirmed conservative — neither from a social nor an economic perspective. That was probably part of his appeal to Mitt Romney when he selected Ryan as his vice-presidential running mate in 2012. But it’s not very appealing to us.
Certainly, we’d much rather have Mr. Ryan as speaker as opposed to the preposterous Nancy Pelosi. So perhaps we should not complain. Yet it would be nice if those who call themselves Republicans would actually stand up for a core set of conservative principles. No wonder people get confused when asked what Republicans believe.

I dont like,or trust Paul Ryan at all I think he is a closet Democrat looking for power and money. He would be easiely bought by Soros and his gang. He belongs in the same basket as McCain,Graham and Warren. I dont trust Rubio to stand firm he can be bought with a good song and dance he is also Power hungry and greedy. They all need to go ASAP. For the good of the Country and for the President.
