As our readers are painfully aware, Speaker Paul Ryan is not confirmed conservative — neither from a social nor an economic perspective. That was probably part of his appeal to Mitt Romney when he selected Ryan as his vice-presidential running mate in 2012. But it’s not very appealing to us.
Certainly, we’d much rather have Mr. Ryan as speaker as opposed to the preposterous Nancy Pelosi. So perhaps we should not complain. Yet it would be nice if those who call themselves Republicans would actually stand up for a core set of conservative principles. No wonder people get confused when asked what Republicans believe.

I don’t think much of Ruan but the thing is that most Americans will not do the jobs in the produce and gaming industry.can’t handle that kind of work.just too lazy or whatever..if we all want to eat we need these workers or we need to pick our own..don’t see that happening
