This past March 7, the National Guard in South Carolina performed door-to-door ‘wellness checks’ in an state-wide drill entitled Operation Vigilant Guard. The stated purpose was to prep for a Category 4 hurricane disaster.
Overall, around 2,000 military personnel and 5,000 persons from the South Carolina emergency management divisions participated.
This certainly harkens back to Hurricane Katrina disaster, where the National Guard and local law enforcement confiscated guns door-to-door.

Its not the troops you have to worry about. Its who is giving them the orders to do what.If there’s a break in leadership , when the troops don’t know who is giving them orders,then your going to have problems.It could be the enemy giving them orders.

Ive got the fullest respect for our men and women in military uniform but please do not come around my home pulling that c**p, we will have a problem. I didnt serve my country with honor to have that c**p pulled on me.

Served my country honorably four years in the Navy and another four in the army national guard and respect my brothers and sisters in the military so please never make us enemies as I will never surrender my home my guns or position to any invading force foreign or domestic .

Just who do you think will be doing them during a national emergency like Katrina? It wasn’t the National Guard that was the issue during Katrina but the local LEOs who were confiscating legally owned weapons.
