This past March 7, the National Guard in South Carolina performed door-to-door ‘wellness checks’ in an state-wide drill entitled Operation Vigilant Guard. The stated purpose was to prep for a Category 4 hurricane disaster.
Overall, around 2,000 military personnel and 5,000 persons from the South Carolina emergency management divisions participated.
This certainly harkens back to Hurricane Katrina disaster, where the National Guard and local law enforcement confiscated guns door-to-door.

If they were going to use a group to confiscate, it stands to reason that they would use a group specifically trained for this, and not throw some regular guys (national guard) in to violate the cons$#%&!@*ution and hope we don’t rebel
Dionicio Tapiz have you seen this out there ?

I live in south Louisiana and did SAR during Katrina. We didn’t and I don’t know of anyone that acted the way it’s being claimed.
uh yeah, I know quite a few coasties that were transporting mercs/ contractors who were hired to kill “insurgents”. so yeah maybe you were in the outskirts, but you might want to talk to people that were actually there protecting citizens from the local LEO and others that had their guns taken away….og to oathkeepers website wathc their guardsmen video..
For starters… I’m active duty. I’d laugh my $#%&!@* off at Guardsman “trying” to take a weapon from me. Key word, trying. They wouldn’t get in my front door without a warrant and they’d have a 9mm in their face if they tried pushing in. People in some sort of power tend to over credit their power
That is a very misleading video. Wow. But hey, feel threatened that’s healthy. And I mean that.
Matt, the NDAA determines how money is spent within the DoD. What “Orders” are you talking about because the National Defense Appropriations Act (NDAA) is not a military order it is how Congress tells DoD what their budget is. You don’t seem to have a working knowledge of the processes. How about you take some time to watch some old School House Rock videos and try to obtain an elementary level of understanding prior to spewing in the future.
