The American people have expressed their clear preference for preserving the 2nd Amendment and all citizens rights to own guns of all manner unless there are clear legal reasons to prevent that ownership, and to oppose rules and regulations that Democrats and President Obama want to impose to gradually confiscate weapons from the people. In fact, the number of senior citizens who have taken gun training classes has grown by 400 percent since 2010.
That is particularly curious because crime rates in general have declined during that same time. But as people watch the federal government seize powers not permitted in the Constitution, and watch radical groups such as demonstrating students run rampant through society without any response by law enforcement, many people feel that they must be able to defend themselves and not depend on the police. And of course the fear of Muslim terrorists who have vowed to destroy America, along with the non-response by the Obama administration, also leads to the need to be prepared and armed.
The Obama administration is not happy with the ability of citizens to arm themselves, or for the court rulings which confirm the populace has that right, and so the federal government is chipping away at the 2nd Amendment in smaller increments in order to strip different groups of their right for self-defense so as not a arouse the public at large. Most recently Obama has been working with the Social Security Administration to take away the guns belonging to individuals who have filed a claim of disability.

Well the RCW says I can but I know of two different people who passed and when they willed their firearms to family, the family was told due to the newer gun laws the family could not legally take possession of the guns. Something about the difference between a live person “gifting” a firearm VS a firearm “willed” to a living relative from a deceased person.

There presently exist anywhere between 18000 and 20000 laws regulating every aspect of a firearm’s existence – from manufacture, to end use. Firearms are probably the most regulated, the most controlled, the most restricted commodity in this country. It has long been illegal to assault, rape, rob, extort, threaten, or murder another person, no matter the INANIMATE object used to accomplish any of these acts. My question for the nay-sayers, the anti-gun champions, the purveyors of tyranny, is simply this: just what law, specifically, would you propose/enact/enforce that would deter, prevent, or eliminate any CRIMINAL use of a firearm (an INANIMATE object) resulting in the “gun violence” you claim occurs as a result of “lax gun laws”? All that is necessary to understand the rabid efforts to disarm law-abiding American citizen gun owners is to realize that liberal gun control efforts have nothing to do with child safety, nothing to do with public safety, nothing to do with safety of anybody, or anything of the kind. Liberal gun control is about one thing, and one thing only. That one thing is the liberal/socialist’s need to disarm those who would resist, thus impede, their ability to implement the socialist, centralized, big government, cradle to grave, control of people, who, in the liberal elite’s opinion, are not smart enough to make the important decisions necessary to take care of themselves. The only thing preventing obama (and ilk), from imposing their vision of the socialist, sunshine, unicorn, butterfly, and rainbow utopia upon America is that they have been unable to disarm 150-200 million Americans of some many more millions of firearms. Additionally, neither have these socialist elites been successful at dissuading these 150-200 million law-abiding, citizen, firearm owning citizens from standing/fighting/dying for the principles in which they believe.
This must be stopped at all costs!
