In the wake of President Obama’s call for more gun control, more background checks, and threats that he is not done with trying to take guns away from law abiding citizens, it is clear that the public vociferously disagrees with him. That is easily seen by the large uptick in gun purchases, fueled by the fear of confiscation by the administration, and by the terrorist incidents that people have seen recently both in the U.S. and abroad.
In addition, there are numerous examples of ordinary citizens having guns in their homes for self protection that led to a more preferred outcome when the need arose. Home invasions have been thwarted by well-trained moms or even kids who were able to defend themselves when a call to the police would have been far to late to do anything but mark a crime scene. And that does not begin to count the thousands or tens of thousands of times that simply brandishing a weapon scared the perpetrator away.
It now seems that even police officers are beginning to get the idea that an armed citizenry can be very important in the battle against crime.

Yes, people have a right to stay free and safe even from this corrupt government… You know when they try to take your guns, dump hundreds of thousands of dangerous criminals on the streets, allow millions of illegals and many who are dangerous criminals to run loose on the streets and now want to bring in refugees that want to replace our culture with theirs along with possible terrorist who sneak in or come in legally on a visa … cannot vet any of these people…to kill us or as many as they can…No wonder Americans do not feel safe…the first job of a president is to protect and defend our citizens, borders, country, Constitution, Bill of Rights, freedoms….doing none of this and supporting terrorists and terrorists countries over America and Americans.

All that is necessary to understand the rabid efforts to disarm law-abiding American citizen gun owners is to realize that liberal gun control efforts have nothing to do with child safety, nothing to do with public safety, nothing to do with safety of anybody, or anything of the kind. Liberal gun control is about one thing, and one thing only. That one thing is the liberal/socialist’s need to disarm those who would resist, thus impede, their ability to implement the socialist, centralized, big government, cradle to grave, control of people, who, in the liberal elite’s opinion, are not smart enough to make the important decisions necessary to take care of themselves. The only thing preventing obama (and ilk), from imposing their vision of the socialist, sunshine, unicorn, and rainbow utopia upon America is that they have been unable to disarm 150-200 million Americans of some many more millions of firearms. Additionally, neither have these socialist elites been successful at dissuading these 150-200 million law-abiding, citizen, firearm owning citizens from standing/fighting/dying for the principles in which they believe.

I just posted the following – Women of America, arm yourselves. If you’re not a felon, you should be able to purchase a firearm. Learn how to use it. If your state offers concealed carry permits, apply. Don’t wait, don’t hesitate, do it while you still can.
Tim Philpot I think most republicans do care about this issue. Politicians may not care, but the people do care. In my opinion, they should file charges on this guy. It’s so sad and it makes me angry that anyone would do this.
