References to Christmas, Easter, Yom Kippur and Rosh Hashanahhave been stricken from next year’s school calendar in Montgomery County, MD. This was in response to Muslim demands that the school district give equal treatment to the Muslim holy day of Eid al-Adha
This stripping of all religious holidays off the calendar wasn’t exactly what Saqib Ali, former Maryland state delegate and member of the Equality for Eid Coalition, had hoped for.
“By stripping the names Christmas, Easter, Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur, they have alienated other communities now, and we are no closer to equality,” stated Ali. “It’s a pretty drastic step, and they did it without any public notification.”
The Maryland school district appears to have been battling the Muslims in their efforts by taking this action.

These damn muslims keep pushing and pushing , It’s getting old and soon something will happen their not going to Like !
Fire the board & have responsible Americans on the board. This is OUR country, tell the muslims to shut up or go home! We have the right to our religions too. We don’t tell others not to have theirs. These trespassers should observe theirs to themselves & leave us to ours!
Liberals !!!
NO changes should have been made … I think the Muslim population just wanted the school district to respect their Holy Days
http://www.thehumanright.org I wonder what the greater injustice here is? People not knowing JESUS came, died, rose, and is returning soon!
Maryland needs its CHRISTians to speak out, we can’t be silent as false gods rise and silence us!!!
Send Muslim’s back where they came from if they don’t like it here !!!
