For Americans who support law enforcement and trust them to safeguard both their liberties and their well-being, it is disheartening to hear officers say that the way to protect the latter is by curtailing the former.
San Jose Police Chief Eddie Garcia is one such officer, as he revealed in an interview with San Jose Inside. Asked about the topics of the day, Garcia not only expressed support for the controversial Black Lives Matter movement, but also voiced opposition to laws allowing Americans to own firearms for their protection.
As one might be wont to point out, a majority of law enforcement officers believe that Americans should retain the right to bear arms, meaning that Garcia is clearly in the minority on the issue. However, his position as chief of police for the 10th largest city in the country means that his opinion will carry weight among the uninformed and be cited by liberals as support for their anti-gun agenda.

They’re illegal weapons in most all cases and all the gun laws in America will do nothing to curb that will only violate law abiding citizens rights!
Its not the control that’s needed. It self control. How about cleaning up the streets. There’s a good start. If you cleaned up the streets the libtarded aclu will be screaming racial profiling but since most gangs are minorities they can’t. I’m a white and not in a gang so it doesn’t effect me.
Here in the Phoenix Arizona area we have approximately 4 plus million people. We are mostly Republican run government. We open carry and no ccw needed to carry if your not a felon. I carry every day. We have our murders like most big cities but they gang related or illegal gun carrying morons. I’ve never used my gun on anybody. I have self control over it. I carry for protection only. I don’t hang out with people who put myself into a situation that would make me have to use it. If you run with trouble you will die from trouble.
