Even the most delusional anti-Trump Republican seems to agree, the man they love to loathe is going to walk away from the GOP primary with more delegates than anyone in the race.
Any other year, this would seal a victory for the frontrunner. Those beaten would release their delegates to the frontrunner and the party would soldier to the general election as a cohesive, unified organization.
But this isn’t any other year, as Trump has disturbed all sense of normalcy and tradition in his bid to become the president of the United States, and the party isn’t happy.
The Republican Party has long been the party of ‘fall in line,’ and ‘wait your turn,’ and Donald Trump’s refusal to do either has enraged the establishment so fiercely that they’re now poised to do everything in their power to shut him down.
Reince Priebus, the head of the GOP establishment, seems so determined to get Trump off the national ticket that he’s willing to undermine the very democracy upon which his party is based.
See how he insulted Republican voters across the country on the next page:
a puppit at work, we the people elect who we want not you
Have at her Putin Americans will fight back
You will have no party then, you money hungry bastard.
How much money have you been promised to sabotage this election ? The people have spoken and you ignore them. Time will tell and we will not forget.
I’m okay with that if you can show me where he stands on the constitution, Keith. We don’t elect a person to parent us. We elect a person who knows the law. People will come and go. Generations are born and pass away. The law should remain the same as the founders created it unless it is changed through amendment or convention.
No I prefer to stand and so will others
No sir, Mr. president of the RNC. We will not sit down. You sir, sit down, and watch the people choose our nominee.
No Mr. Chairman the people of the United States picks the nominee not you. You need to resign now. Because you will be voted out
Being a bombastic blowhard should not be a qualification to be president, I prefer my candidate to have a demonstrable Proficiency in serving the citizens of the United States, that candidate is Ted Cruz.
I’m waiting
