Even the most delusional anti-Trump Republican seems to agree, the man they love to loathe is going to walk away from the GOP primary with more delegates than anyone in the race.
Any other year, this would seal a victory for the frontrunner. Those beaten would release their delegates to the frontrunner and the party would soldier to the general election as a cohesive, unified organization.
But this isn’t any other year, as Trump has disturbed all sense of normalcy and tradition in his bid to become the president of the United States, and the party isn’t happy.
The Republican Party has long been the party of ‘fall in line,’ and ‘wait your turn,’ and Donald Trump’s refusal to do either has enraged the establishment so fiercely that they’re now poised to do everything in their power to shut him down.
Reince Priebus, the head of the GOP establishment, seems so determined to get Trump off the national ticket that he’s willing to undermine the very democracy upon which his party is based.
See how he insulted Republican voters across the country on the next page:
Well if they choose Trump they’ll be choosing a Democrat, and I certainly oppose that.
Bette Hutchens Why do you hate Mr. Trump?
We all already knew it was corrupt before Trump got here, he’s just taking down people who could fix it (which is unsurprising, since he is corrupt himself).
Abe was not the front-runner going into his own presidential convention. He didn’t get elected until the third ballot.
If Trump wins in four years it won’t be the America you grew up in. Don’t fool yourself, he’s the epitome of crony capitalism, he’s just the guy paying the bribes instead of receiving them.
If you can in good conscience join the Democrat party, then you already are a Democrat. Might as well go join them now and quit wasting time.
Then Democrats, Republicans, Pope, China, Mexico and Washington are ALL against Trump because he’s NOT in their “Club” of corruption.
He can’t be bought off……he doesn’t need their money.
In good conscience no, but I refuse to follow a party that doesn’t follow the people it is supposed to represent. Its time to change the way business is done in Washington and only someone with business sense can do it. We cannot continue to spend what we don’t have. Greedy bastards with the idea of following the party ideology no matter what to get their share of the lobbyist money are on the way out. Government of the people by the people, no more career politicians.
Bette Hutchens If the constitution is being followed the the vote of the people by the people and not we the delagates or a convention. The delagates nor the convention are part of the constitution . ALL goverment officals take a oath TO UPHOLE THE CONSTITION .
Agree to disagree-
