Just a quick thought, A Boeing 757 weight is approximately 255,000 pounds this is without being loaded with fuel, luggage and people. Yes it is a aluminum tube but compound the weight with speed and you have a problem. Secondly when punching holes at elevations such as the impact areas on the twin towers not only do you have fire but you have created a windtunnel, furniture, desks, papers, and anything else flammable will burn and it will become extremely hot. Not to mention the compromise of building floors that have had holes cord threw them in the last 30 years.
