Liberals will be hard pressed to tout Obama’s economic success after the retail apocalypse has been fully realized.
With thousands of stores being closed across the country, the Federal Reserve will have a hard time propping up our failed economy with QE and zero-interest polices after confidence is finally completely shattered.
SEE PAGE 2 FOR LIST OF CLOSING STORES:
This is not news. This is 6,000 stores among 1,000 retailers. Retailers close underperforming stores all the time. Wal-Mart closes 100+ per month.
So, someone is claiming that Target closing every one of their stores in Canada is President Obama ‘ s doing? Nice try, next?
Radio SHack has been relevant for years. What a hack
Sears has not been a real player for many years.
China!!! Ruining our country
Wow, that’s a lot of stores. I didn’t see TGIFriday’s on the list anywhere, although we just lost ours. Dunno if it was way underperforming or if it was a planned thing.
Some times stores just outlive their economic viability, meaning, they just didn’t keep up with the times. It happened to Montgomery Wards, Ben Franklin Stores, Woolsworth, Radio Shack and many others. That’s capital enterprize at it’s finest. Money will flow to the enterprize supplying the best value. I hate to see Sears go, I really liked their tools and have used them for many years. I remember, many years ago, Sears Roebuck and Montgomery Wards were the main supplier of clothing for my family. The old mail order catalog. In those days it was a great enterprize but with our economy now they are just outdated. I don’t know if Sears even has a catalog anymore. My folks first radio came from Sears, delivered by the post office on our rural route delivery. That was long, long ago.
The middle cl$#%&!@* needs a lift.Ceos don’t spend much in these stores and they are getting the big paydays.
Didn’t they buy K-Mart several years ago when THEY were in bankruptcy?
Another f**e story for those who don’t know anything about economics. F**e news.
