The brokered convention is all the buzz these day in GOP circles, as anti-Trumpers look for ways to keep him from getting the nomination. Without having the 1,237 delegates needed to win the GOP nomination before the convention, Trump could face a loss at the hands of the political party.
North Dakota GOP delegate Curly Haugland told CNBC’s Squawk Box that the media has given the public the perception that the voters choose the nomination. “That’s the conflict here”, he says. He explained that it is not the voters, but the political parties that choose their presidential nominees. As one of 112 Republican delegates, Haugland stated he is “not required to cast their support” for any particular candidate as their territories and states do not hold caucuses or primaries.
Unbound delegates very well could play a major “swing role” at a brokered convention.

No they don’t, we the people!
This election is not going to be pretty…
It’s a rigged deck all the way….prepare for a revolution in this country because the American people are fed up with their stinking lying government.
Politicians say your Vote counts, but the Elites do not like the Voters results.
Get out and vote, as long as you vote for who we want you to vote for, otherwise your vote doesn’t count or matter. Our supreme leaders and dictator in Washington are stealing our rite much too often.
I will write in DONALD TRUMP on the General Election BALLOT in November and drop my REPUBLICAN affiliation shortly thereafter. THE ESTABLISHMENT (RINOS/DEMOCRATS) doesn’t want Trump in because he’ll clean house and EXPOSE all the CORRUPTION!
I knew in my heart my vote never really mattered . Proof to me the system is rigged.
They can’t do a thing if he gets the 1237
Why do you think there is no younger man or woman running against Miss Hillary, she and powers that be have picked her and will do what ever it takes to getbher elected.
