A San Diego State University student was forced to remove the American flag from his balcony by his apartment complex.
The student, Brad Smith, received the notice to remove the flag one month after moving in into the Boulevard 63 Apartments
“We were then told that it was for political reasons and that the flag could offend foreign people that live here, foreign exchange students,” Smith stated.

keep P;d Glory flying for Americans !!!!!! Others aren’t
Well then let the foreign students move
If it is “University supplied” housing, then they have rules. If not part of the stated rules then he has a right to fly it. However, the University can change rules and then it is up to the school’s ruling authority to correct the wrong. This can be done by their financial supporters if enough pressure is supplied by taxpayers. I am a veteran and served this flag and country proudly, but can see the reason for rules like this. Without them any half wit student could fly anything they wanted to and be,lieve me, they would.
If private rental property, the same applies except that taxpayers have no way to effect change in rules. Student can find different housing that does not have the same rules. If it is a rental property, it does not belong to the student…simple.
MOVE if you don’t like it

THEN send the poor unfortunate foreign students packing!!!!!!!!! Especially since OUR taxes are paying most of their stay.. all because of that flag!
Our flag is offensive…..but our opportunities and benefits certainly do not seem to be
