“I can’t imagine any use for bayonets in an urban setting,” stated Sen. Rand Paul to Senate Homeland Security Committee at a hearing last year.
“I can’t answer what a local police force would use a bayonet for,” Alan Estevez said.

Not a cop and not ashamed of myself. Nor would I be if I were one. You and Brian Brad need to learn how to read.
Rand Paul is a true American.
A patriotic, knowledgeable defender of the constitution.
Perhaps being president isn’t in the cards for him, but unlike %99 of the bastards in Congress, I actually trust him when he questions our government.

calling Born Again radical ?
Senator, if you want to worry about law enforcement, worry about the FBI, ATF, and other Federal agencies armaments. Local police are our best line of defense against Federal overreach. Why should they have lesser tools than the criminals and Feds?
FOR KILLING PEOPLE THATS WHY!!!
It would save bullets, use ur brain. I almost forgot u are in congress.
I am retired law enforcement with 28 years. The tv shows Copsand Miami Vice are responsible for the trend of law enforcement to want to look like military. I have never seen a need for it other than the cops like the looks of all the raid gear. My take is if you want to look like a soldier, join the military…..
patriots ?
Gary Griswold our government will
It beats me how the hell can u bring anyone into any police force, u cannot even write proper English.
