Vladimir Putin is pretty infamous for his no-nonsense approach to politics. He’s also known for not giving a damn for anyone’s sensitivities. Ever since Muslim-controlled Turkey shot down a Russian jet last month, Putin has been upping his rhetoric against the religion. After announcing his thoughts on imposing some stricter sanctions on the country, he said something that is likely to draw some ire from more sensitive Muslims.
Putin said during a press conference that he was not interested in “saber-rattling” with Turkey. He promised stronger sanctions on the country. After Putin’s statements the Russian Energy Minister Alexander Novak announced that Russia would be ending the talks on the Ankara Turkish gas steam pipeline, a move designed, he said, “to emphasize the strength of Kremlin anger.”
Between Putin’s relatively gentle chiding and Mr. Novak’s more aggressive announcement to halt energy discussions with Turkey, it’s clear that Putin wishes he could do more. And perhaps he would, if the NATo countries could be convinced to coordinated their attacks with Russian military.

Good!
Wow, that sure is something, a man of God teaching hatred about other people. If you were in Saudi Arabia, you’d be wearing a turban and calling for death to non Muslims. You’re just a different side to the same coin. Both extremists Christians and extremists Muslims are the enemies of humanity. How many Muslims do you actually know personally? I know several. Quite a few even served my country along side me in the military. If you knew anything about US foreign policy over the last 70 years you’d know that this obscure Wahhabi movement that sprang up in the deep desert of Saudi Arabia in the 19th century was supported as the state ideology of the al-Saud family that now rules Saudi Arabia. The US and Great Britain funneled arms and money to the al-Sauds in WWII in return for getting access to the cheap oil over there. The al-Sauds, with western support, pushed the Hashemites out of western Arabia and took over Mecca and Medina and thus the mantle of legitimacy of the Sunni Muslim umma. This support continues to this day. The US has been crushing secular nationalism in the Middle East and supporting militant Islamists as a means of control over their resources. Not only that, we’ve been crushing democracy movements and feminist movements in the area as well. In the 70s, the Saudis decided to export this ideology world wide with the enthusiastic support of their benefactors in Washington. Who do you think those “freedom fighters” from Afghanistan Reagan was parading around the White House in the 80s were? Another great accomplishment of Reagan was that he supported the Isalmisation of Pakistan in the 80s and the fact that Pakistan has a massive nuclear arsenal makes it the most dangerous state in the world. Quite a bit more dangerous than Iran I should add. And since I mentioned Iran, I should also mention the Islamist government in Iran is another baby of the US. In 1953, the CIA and MI6 fomented a coup that overthrew the parliamentary government Iran after the Iranians nationalized their own fields and pushed out British and American oil companies and installed a brutal dictatorship controlled by Washington. The 1979 revolution was push back against foreign hegemony in the country and the Islamist part was a counter revolution to the one that deposed the Shah. Carter even tried to make nice with the new government in Tehran which is pretty standard US policy. We don’t care if a tyrannical maniac rules a nation, so long as he does what we tell him and gives us access to resources. The Iranians didn’t want to play ball however, so of course the government became a threat.
Jimmy Smith Actually, the US government loves radical Islam. We only started whining about it when it got out of our control and then turned against us.
Obama is a Muslim Himself
