Vladimir Putin is pretty infamous for his no-nonsense approach to politics. He’s also known for not giving a damn for anyone’s sensitivities. Ever since Muslim-controlled Turkey shot down a Russian jet last month, Putin has been upping his rhetoric against the religion. After announcing his thoughts on imposing some stricter sanctions on the country, he said something that is likely to draw some ire from more sensitive Muslims.
Putin said during a press conference that he was not interested in “saber-rattling” with Turkey. He promised stronger sanctions on the country. After Putin’s statements the Russian Energy Minister Alexander Novak announced that Russia would be ending the talks on the Ankara Turkish gas steam pipeline, a move designed, he said, “to emphasize the strength of Kremlin anger.”
Between Putin’s relatively gentle chiding and Mr. Novak’s more aggressive announcement to halt energy discussions with Turkey, it’s clear that Putin wishes he could do more. And perhaps he would, if the NATo countries could be convinced to coordinated their attacks with Russian military.
Find out what Putin said in this press conference on page 2.

People need to understand something about Russia that I think is being ignored. Whereas America, since the Revolution, Indian Wars, Civil War, WW 1 & 2 and all the other wars we have engaged in probably have lost about ( wild guess) less than 1 million personnel.
Russia on the other hand since it’s beginning has lost in it’s wars internal and external probably a little less than 100 ( yes 100 ) 100 million personnel.
They have been around the block probably more times than any other country on earth.
It is not wise to push their buttons. It is not wise to dismiss them. They don’t need or give a wrinkle about Muslims. They have fought them for centuries just like most other countries. Killing a few more million of them is just another day in history for the Russians. They don’t lose sleep over stuff like this.
There is no Allah or god everyone just relax enjoy your life.
Don Dawes, considering the word “Allah” is simply a direct translation of the word “God” in Arabic makes your statement one of ignorance. Christian Arabic speakers also refer to God as “Allan”, much in the same way a German speaker would use their language and refer to him as “gotten”. Furthermore, the fact that Christianity, Islam, and Judaism are all abrahamic religions, followed of all three worship in the exact same God of Abraham.
What’s the reasons for Muslim control Kevin? Curious on your take of things, it’s interesting hoe there’s mass migration to Christian countries the last 10 years.
Jason I completely agree about the parties becoming extreme factions. I’d say Bush somewhat abandoned being moderate but Obama has taken party politics to a extreme level, that’s why you see Trump president today. Until we see rationality this is the new norm in US politics.
AMEN
I also think Americans see Putin as a no nonsense president that’s been missing in American politics. The political correctness from both parties are sickening. Every time you see a politician on camera it seems extremely scripted, zombies reading a script. It’s ok if your views don’t please every person in your district or state. Americans would respect politics again if they didn’t try to cater to everybody’s needs and look like stooges n the process
Cameron where do you see treson? And please explain where you see racism? Because some whites don’t agree or respect Obama makes people racist? Please explain because you come off as delusional. If you want to seem relevant with blanket statements at least state the reasons for your comment. Smh
See that’s what a leader does. They take action. Granted I don’t know much about Russia and how Putin leads his country, but I do know this, he showed them what would happen with the radical Islamists invaded his country. He took action.
I must be missing something here. Putin is godless and the moslems hate him? The democrats here are godless and the moslems love them.
