It is sad that Obama, Clinton and Kerry have so messed up the Middle East with their “Arab Spring” that Vladimir Putin becomes the hero who brings order out of the chaos.
Putin, allies with Assad. His relations with Iran are improving. (Hey, you don’t see masses of people in the streets of Tehran shouting “Death to Putin! Death to Russia!”) Russia sees Syria as a strategic location. They have moved military to the Syrian border. Putin believes Obama’s fingers in the Middle East have left a vacuum that ISIS is filling. Putin is closely aligned with how many American conservatives view Obama’s bungling of it. More bungling on the next page.
From Putin’s UN speech:
Instead of the triumph of democracy and progress, we got violence, poverty and social disaster — and nobody cares a bit about human rights, including the right to life. I cannot help asking those who have forced that situation: Do you realize what you have done?”
A report at Jihad Watch answers:
No, they don’t realize what they have done, and they’re poised to do more of it. And those of us who warned at the time that the “Arab Spring” would not lead to “the triumph of democracy and progress,” but to “violence, poverty and social disaster,” were dismissed and derided as racist, bigoted “Islamophobes.” And no matter how often the establishment analysts get things wrong, and disastrously, and fatally so, they never get called to account, and keep applying the same failed solutions.

Bravo! Well said.
Two choices: Either the Obama regime, who encouraged what they named the “Arab Spring” knew exactly the fallout, and wanted to destabilize the Middle East. Or the Obama regime is delusional and really thought having “JV Team”, ISIS, fill the vacuum. That’s a good thing.
Whatever you think of Putin, he is right about Obama. No easy answers, but with pro-Arab apologists like Samantha Powers as Ambassador to the UN, a real confidante, who has the ear of the President, and was one of the architects of the Arab Spring, you can bet what happens next will be more of the same.
Perhaps after Putin is through eliminating ISIS over there, we can invite him here to take on the tens of thousands of Syrian Islamists that Obama is inviting in.
President Putin is not a communist!
President Putin made the speech. Its content is real and true. It has nothing to do with the site which brought it!
No because your a bumbass
How do you know what you assert?
#1 Adam Copeland since Obama was never shy about spouting off, all he had to do was spout off saying if we don’t stop these people it’s going to get crazy. Us conservatives aren’t dumd, we would have demanded the GOP back him.
#2 He had a majority in house and senate in the beginning when this was showing its face but he was more worried about other c**p like passing Obamacare so that kite won’t fly either.
Truth comes out.
Damn but, this is awesome. Awesome from an international politics perspective and from a history perspective. Vladimir Putin here is playing the good guy and he’s absolutely nailing Obama dead to rights in the process.
For anyone who is even slightly aware of world history, Putin’s statements are laughable on so many points. That he could depict modern day Russia as some sort of human rights champion and as a champion of “self-determination” is indeed laugh out loud laughable. But he does just that and does it not only with a straight face but also gets away with it by calling out Obama’s appalling failures in the Middle East. Thus, by comparison, Rad Bad Vlad really does look the better of the two.
Mind, I didn’t say that Vladimir Putin is a good guy or that he is the better of the two. Rather, that he _looks_ the better of the two thanks to the way he’s framed the issue and thanks to how badly our president has screwed things up.
It truly is a sad day when a dictatorial thug like Putin can so righteously get away with wrapping himself in the cloak of democracy and human rights like he just did.
Thanks Obama! You really screwed things up here!
Now the Russians have the opportunity to gain influence in the entire Middle East like that haven’t had since the days of the Czars. Yeah, over a century now since the West let Russia have any say in that region. And that’s all undone thanks to Barrack Obama and his “lead from behind” foreign policy.
Lucky us. This really is change we can all believe in. Yes, we can! Forward!
Yea, Putin’s a hero.
Putin is a bada$$, too bad he’s one of the commies
Wow !, I never thought about it until now…. If it were me moving into the White House, I too, would want to have it fumigated, before I redecorated.
