South Carolina State Rep. Alan Clemmons (R) has proposed a measure for a state curriculum that would require students to complete a three-week class on the US Constitution. The course would focus on the Second Amendment using materials endorsed by the NRA and if a companion bill is passed along with it students would also attend shooting ranges.

THAT WOULD BE A GREAT THING. IT WOULD TEACH ABOUT THE CONSTITUTION AND ALSO GUN SAFETY, WHICH A LOT OF THESE YOUNGER PEOPLE NEVER LEARNED, HOW TO HANDLE GUNS. A GUN SAFETY COURSE FOR ANYONE BUYING A GUN WOULD DO NO HARM.
With this education on our constitution in schools the students would understand how the laws work and would know when our President dosen’t follow the Constitution. Also would have a better understanding of our second amendment and how important it is.
Our educational system is a farce. Having worked several years in the Liberal school sustem of Montgomery County, Md., suburbs of Washngton, D.C., I can tell you first hand. Too many students are not there to learn. The parenting of many is lacking and is obvious by the disrespect shown to school staff, and the quick response of Liberal parents coming to the defense of their misbehaving little spoiled brats.
As it should be!
President and all lawmakers need to be tested on it
what a wonderful Idea
They better start doing something or we won’t have a constitution to study the president will see that we don’t, stop it now
Wonderful idea? I studied it in school years ago! When and why did they take it out?
yes great idea
It’s a little late but better late than never
