South Carolina State Rep. Alan Clemmons (R) has proposed a measure for a state curriculum that would require students to complete a three-week class on the US Constitution. The course would focus on the Second Amendment using materials endorsed by the NRA and if a companion bill is passed along with it students would also attend shooting ranges.

We studied it when I was in school, can’t believe i can say of my high school years 70-73 was simpler time. Really can not believe I can actually say that.
This should be a required course in EVERY American high school in the country AND overseas.
When I was in school, many years ago, US History was a requirement & we studied the Constitution. Even my kids took US History in the 70’s. What happened?
I like it… Will renew Patriotism… Need to teach world history too, not Obama’s revisionist history…..
from what we see on T.V. shows us just how stupid the American public is a possible cure would you believe a course in Civics and any one who can’t pass the test shouldn’t Graduate period untill they do.

That is one Bill that needs to pass. I don’t know why it was stopped in the first place. Who did that? America needs to bring back all the good that was in our country years ago. We were all a shining example of a good, honest, moral, Christian country then. I want my country back.
