South Carolina State Rep. Alan Clemmons (R) has proposed a measure for a state curriculum that would require students to complete a three-week class on the US Constitution. The course would focus on the Second Amendment using materials endorsed by the NRA and if a companion bill is passed along with it students would also attend shooting ranges.

We had to study AND pass State Constitution class before graduating 8th grade and US constitution as a freshman. And pass…what’s wrong with that?? Yes I know it was many years ago …but those facts have been useful many times over the years.
