South Carolina State Rep. Alan Clemmons (R) has proposed a measure for a state curriculum that would require students to complete a three-week class on the US Constitution. The course would focus on the Second Amendment using materials endorsed by the NRA and if a companion bill is passed along with it students would also attend shooting ranges.

Would the “study” require redefining as our liberal citizens wish? They have removed a brest deal of “history” from our schools as it is. I believe a course on the Constitution should be mandatory in all schools as well as a Civics exam before being allowed yo vote
I’m proud of the AZ Republicans, the first thing they did this year was pass a law that kids must pass civics classes before they can graduate. It is a start!
