South Carolina State Rep. Alan Clemmons (R) has proposed a measure for a state curriculum that would require students to complete a three-week class on the US Constitution. The course would focus on the Second Amendment using materials endorsed by the NRA and if a companion bill is passed along with it students would also attend shooting ranges.

In California when I was young. Passing a test on the Constitution was a requirement to pass the 8th grade. Yes I would vote for it, But it should focus on ALL our rights

The education system in this country needs to get back to basics. RRR. Civics is left out totally and the math is ridiculous. Kids are so unaware of our history that it scares me. The gov’t has tried to amend our history as not to offend. Well with the way the world is today, maybe it’s time to get back to the truth , honor those who gives us our freedom every day and stop trying to shove polictical correctness down our throats.
