South Carolina State Rep. Alan Clemmons (R) has proposed a measure for a state curriculum that would require students to complete a three-week class on the US Constitution. The course would focus on the Second Amendment using materials endorsed by the NRA and if a companion bill is passed along with it students would also attend shooting ranges.

We studied that back in the ancient 1960’s.
i think it is a good thing.
I think the Constitution should be a required course for all students.
That’s a real good question. How come we don’t have to study the very FOUNDATION of our nation?
It used to be in grade school. We had replicas of the Constitution, and some quotes from the founders, and we had to memorize the preamble, back in the 60’s. The federal government has changed all that, and it’s time to change it back.
