South Carolina State Rep. Alan Clemmons (R) has proposed a measure for a state curriculum that would require students to complete a three-week class on the US Constitution. The course would focus on the Second Amendment using materials endorsed by the NRA and if a companion bill is passed along with it students would also attend shooting ranges.

Interesting. North Carolina booed Jesus off the DNC stage in 2012 and the school kids are being forced to learn Muslim prayers (their own prayers are not allowed). Yet South Carolina is stepping up to ensure that children have both sides of the story…..liberals beware….independent thought is rising in this country.
AWESOME………………..
What would this prove. It seems like.every one has their own agenda.
peace , justice & the american way ! stop forceing our children to learn things they don’t need !! but out of our lives
Excellent! !! I agree with this 100%
Needs to be required course in all elementary schools even if Muslims go.
We were taught American History, why are they not teaching it now? And I agree with Jon too!
At this point where Americans Have little choice and our children even less I personally believe unless things change it may confuse them more. Proud of you Mary for speaking up. I would agree Mr. Cleammons if we had control over America but it seems we do not. (my granddaughter)
we had to study it and learn the preamble etc since the 50s they watered down education to brain wash and take us from within and they did
i also and we had religious inst in the 50s it ended little by little they took stuff away they even can graduate without history period see how they got to be stupid voters
