South Carolina State Rep. Alan Clemmons (R) has proposed a measure for a state curriculum that would require students to complete a three-week class on the US Constitution. The course would focus on the Second Amendment using materials endorsed by the NRA and if a companion bill is passed along with it students would also attend shooting ranges.

Schools don’t teach many necessary courses anymore.
Should be required in EVERY stage of education. Most of today’s ‘educated’ have no instruction in it and, thanks to government schools, no understanding of it’s concept.

That was my question! We did when I was in school, back in the dark ages!! We also had to pass CIVICS in order to graduate !!
I studied it in High School
When did they quit teaching it? I was taught it in the 50s. Has things changed that much?
they took civics out of school where I lived back in the 70s
Should have never stopped teaching it, but they needed time to teach all the lies and inaccuracies
