South Carolina State Rep. Alan Clemmons (R) has proposed a measure for a state curriculum that would require students to complete a three-week class on the US Constitution. The course would focus on the Second Amendment using materials endorsed by the NRA and if a companion bill is passed along with it students would also attend shooting ranges.

In High School in 1953, we were required to spend 6 weeks studying the Federal Government and how it works, it still did then!

Do you really think they want to young to know how their leaders are breaking the laws of the land…NO WAY
Why is this even a question? American History should be mandatory and you should have to pass a citizenship test to graduate.
I am all for that – kids grow up not knowing that the government is not living by it.
