Portand Univ Course Aims To Make Whiteness ‘Strange’

Portland State University is now a offering “White Privilege” course, and according to the professor, Rachel Sanders, whiteness must be dismantled if racial justice will ever be achieved. Okay, so how do you go about dismantling a skin color?

The answer lies in the myth of white privilege. The course description says that white privilege or “whiteness” is the lynchpin of racial inequality in the Unites States, and to preserve that whiteness is to preserve racial injustice.

Essentially, the class is aimed at making people who aren’t white, hate white people, and the people who are white, hate themselves. That’s exactly what America needs . . . not.
