Sometimes, it seems the Pope takes more pleasure in challenging the church that he leads than he does promoting the values he was entrusted to protect. Ever since he was elected head of the Roman Catholic Church, the Pope seemed to immediately embark on an apology tour for the beliefs and actions of his predecessors.
Of course, Pope Francis didn’t let the bounds of the his faith box him in, either. He quickly branched out to tackle hot-button issues such as capitalism and immigration, as well.
Now, the pope is even challenging the church’s firmly held beliefs on homosexuality. Homosexuality has long been one of the most condemnable sins in the eyes of the church, but the pontiff is once again reversing course by asking his followers to accepts gays and lesbians.

Well fortunately we have plenty of bibles to read for ourselves now days..
We’re New Testament now but 1 Corintians 6:9-11 still tells you it’s a sin and to “Not be fooled” for “these will not inherit the Kingdom of heaven ” …
No doubt… 1 Timothy 4:1-4 says “Now the Spirit expressly says that latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons… speaking lies in hypocrisy, having their own conscience seared with a hot iron, forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from foods which God created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and know the truth. For every creature of Good is good and nothing is to be refused if it is received with thanksgiving” (So from the time this was written by those in the 70 years or so after Christ died the Spirit told them that there will be those who will tell you lies and have no problem doing it…they will refuse marriage for religious reasons and tell you certain foods you should abstain from which is not true in the New Testament… except the blood of strangled animals)
I am fully aware that it is a sin, and I know the word assures us that homosexuality is a guarantee for eternal separation from God. (But one can repent from it and be saved.) It is a sin that is a greater stronghold for the enemy because it involves the body. It is flaunting sin to God because it goes against the very natural part of a person, nature that God placed within them. It is forgivable. I know those who have accepted Christ as Savior and Lord, and have been delivered of homosexuality immediately. I know those who have been saved and delivered through fighting the homosexuality again and again until they have been delivered. Homosexuals are people who sin, and they will eternally be separated from the Lord if they do not repent. Homosexuality is an abomination. (God abhors it.) It actually is an extreme form of defying God. But God loves every one of us, and came not to condemn, but to give life to the full. (Homosexuality is as if one is giving the finger to God, actually.) Homosexuality also opens people to a perverted mind. (The only ones God will not forgive is one who refuses to ask forgiveness or one who knew the supernatural power of God, moved in it, and then denied Him intentionally or one who KNOWINGLY attributes something supernatural that the Lord did to the enemy’s doing.) Just remember, ALL have sinned and come short of the glory of God: no one can get right with the Lord without asking for forgiveness, accepting His shed blood to cover their sins, and making Him Lord of his or her life. Without Christ’s blood, we all would be eternally separated. (I taught school with several homosexuals, and they are on my prayer list. God loves them, but their souls are lost. I know they will spend eternity in hell if they do not accept Christ and move in GOD’S ways, making Him Lord.)
