Sometimes, it seems the Pope takes more pleasure in challenging the church that he leads than he does promoting the values he was entrusted to protect. Ever since he was elected head of the Roman Catholic Church, the Pope seemed to immediately embark on an apology tour for the beliefs and actions of his predecessors.
Of course, Pope Francis didn’t let the bounds of the his faith box him in, either. He quickly branched out to tackle hot-button issues such as capitalism and immigration, as well.
Now, the pope is even challenging the church’s firmly held beliefs on homosexuality. Homosexuality has long been one of the most condemnable sins in the eyes of the church, but the pontiff is once again reversing course by asking his followers to accepts gays and lesbians.

This is why catholicism is a false religion. First off, only Jesus Christ is the head of the church, and the church is not a building, but the body of BELIEVERS who have accepted Christ as their personal savior, and are as a result been born again. To become born again, one does not have to jump through hoops, take sacraments, utter prayers, go to mass, or any other thing, all you need to do is to agree with God that you are a vile sinner, destined to hell, and in dire need of a savior,( which, by the way is the biblical definition of repentance) then you believe that Jesus is that savior and he has taken your sins upon himself and nailed them to his cross; his death is a substitute for yours, in exchange he gives you his righteousness , upon being born of the Spirit, your spirit is made alive with Christ(because it was dead), and he seals you until the resurrection, when you will be given your own glorified body to live eternally in.This coupled with the facts that Jesus was buried & rose again completes the simple gospel; God had to make it simple because we humans have a nasty habit of complicating the c**p out of everything. So don’t worry about what the pope says, he’s a false prophet, anyway.

This Pope does not agree with God’s word, the Bible. We must obey God rather than man.
This Pope is not following God’s word. Do not follow him.
He is not correct about gays, but we should not harm gays. However, the Bible calls gays an abomination. We should treat gays with kindness and let God judge them, but recognize that it is not okay to be gay in God’s eyes.
