He is so wrong!
Statements like that demonstrate that the Pope doesn’t have a clue about Christianity or scripture. It’s appalling. Jesus said “I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No one comes to the Father except by me.”
Because God is a Holy God, he cannot be in the presence of sin. Our sin was washed away by the blood of Jesus on the cross. Without coming in repentance to Jesus, we would be bringing our sin into heaven. Ain’t gonna happen.
And, if someone doesn’t believe in God, they certainly aren’t thinking about heaven.
Way out in left field. WRONG.
