When Pope Francis visits the U.S. next month he will urge the United States to open up our doors to immigrants, embracing our history of welcoming foreigners to reside in our country, according to the U.S. ambassador to the Vatican.
“I think he’ll call us to continue to engage with it (the world), don’t throw any walls up around our nation, don’t revert to isolationism,” Ambassador Kenneth Hackett said. “We are a nation of welcoming people, so that’s where I think he will put his attention.”

The only way to get this door any wider open would be to take it off it’s hinges!
i have no respect for the pope, if i was in charge i would publicly tell him where he can go
Let them all go thru the Vatican first t
He should mind his own business in my view!
Why not open the doors to the Vatican?
Take a hike.
Open your doors pope and put your money where your mouth is. Sick of this liberal pushing his liberal agenda on us.
We,re the ONLY country in the world with legal open doors.
As a catholic you need to take care of the church. Our doors are open to legal immigrants who follow the law.
One the contrary , but it’s you opinion though .
