When Pope Francis visits the U.S. next month he will urge the United States to open up our doors to immigrants, embracing our history of welcoming foreigners to reside in our country, according to the U.S. ambassador to the Vatican.
“I think he’ll call us to continue to engage with it (the world), don’t throw any walls up around our nation, don’t revert to isolationism,” Ambassador Kenneth Hackett said. “We are a nation of welcoming people, so that’s where I think he will put his attention.”

He isn’t affected by it, that’s why he approves it. If he lived in a state that was overrun by illegal aliens he would feel differently.
