In Laymans terms our God tells us to help our fellow man….in ALL books and religions. He does not specify race or ethnicity or location, so I’m sure the original comment disappoints him coming from a “religious” man!

Keith Moore, my statement is based on a few facts that people should consider. The Quran mentions the same main characters that are mentioned in the Bible. Adam & Eve, Noah, Abraham, Moses, Jesus, Mary, etc. The Torah, Bible, and Quran are based off of the same people who refer to the same God. They are all three Abrahamic Religions, based off the same God described by the people in all of the three religions’ holy books.
Not to say that there isn’t differences in the books. Of course most Christians do not recognize the Quran or Mohammed; although Mohammed (supposedly) basically rewrote the Bible, because he felt that it was being changed too much and Christians were no longer going by the original word (according so many Muslims). The same can be said for the Jewish side of things. They went off their holy book until Jesus came about, and the book was re-written to include Jesus’ teachings. Many Jews did not follow the Bible because they felt it added to the previous book of God, which is forbidden; the same goes for Christians not following the Quran because they felt it added to the Bible, which is forbidden. All in all, they are based off the same storyline, and the same God.
People may not agree with Islam/Mohammed/Muslims, but that does not mean that they should ignore the facts that they are based off of the same God. The later additions to the stories may cause the books and beliefs, traditions, customs, and religious law to be different but they still have the same origins and pertain to the same God; no matter how much you may not like the religion.
