This contrary to the ecumenical Creeds, the Councils and Decrees of Trent and the Catholic Catechism, et. al. and would normally be considered a reason to defrock a Priest if it is not recanted. It will be interesting to see the contortions the Curia go through to explain the Pope’s words which are patent nonsense. Any Muslim who knows his business will tell you they don’t believe in the Trinity-in fact they’ll tell Christians their God doesn’t exist. Perhaps from now on the Holy Father should text message all of his public statements to a spokesman who will render them into correct Catholic doctrine for public consumption.
