Central Catholic, maybe you can explain something to me. Personally I have never understood why Catholic priests are not allowed to marry?
From what my understanding has been, marriage – heterosexual marriage – was something that was created and approved by God.
So if marriage was indeed approved by God, why wouldn’t he want ALL of his servants to marry, and have families?
I mean even St. Peter was married, and we know that because Jesus healed Peter’s mother-in-law.
